The American FFA degree is awarded to those who have gone above and beyond in their supervised agricultural experience and displayed outstanding leadership and community involvement throughout their FFA careers. Corey Conway, class of 2017 learned his American degree at the 93rd Annual National FFA Convention for his grain crops SAE. Conway is the first Silver Lake FFA remembered to receive this honor. “Corey was very driven to accomplish great things in high school. He worked hard and continued to succeed in college,” commented Silver Lake FFA advisor, Andrea Curlo. His legacy in the Silver Lake FFA Chapter is something that every member will look up to.
