The Silver Lake One-Act cast took on the Twin Valley Conference One Act competition on November 16 at Harvard. The cast has been working hard in the early morning to produce the best show. The play is called “Hallmarks of Horror” and is a comical twist on a classic horror story. They took to the stage and gave it their all. At the end of the performance, the cast felt very confident in the show. “As a narrator, I felt like everyone held their part and spoke well. It was one of our best performances yet,” said sophomore Taylor Hanson. “Hallmarks of Horror” received fifth place. Honorable mention actresses included Samantha Bonifas, Taylor Hanson, Trista Hanson, and Lana Swanson. Eric Blythe received honorable mention actor. “The judges gave us a great response with lots of input on how to make it better. I am very excited to see how it will help us out in the next performance,” said Hanson. Silver Lake’s next performance is the dinner theater on November 23.
