To the Patrons of Silver Lake,
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Nebraska Department of Education Office of Nutrition Services has now granted Silver Lake Public Schools the ability to provide meals to anyone under the age of 18, free of charge.
We have been delivering meals this past week and will continue to do so to those families within our district boundaries that have signed up last week. If you do live within the district boundaries and would like to begin having meals delivered, please call the elementary or fill out the form below to begin delivery on Monday, April 6th.
This is a revised schedule! We are trying to limit outside contact with our staff as much as possible.
Delivery schedules will change as follows:
Mondays, meals will be delivered to Campbell and Holstein. These will include meals for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Tuesdays, meals will be delivered to Bladen and Roseland. These will include meals for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday
Meals will be delivered between 11:00 am and 12:15 pm. Please make sure that someone is at home during these times. We cannot leave the meals unattended outside.
Silver Lake Elementary in Bladen will also be a walk-in pick up site from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm on Mondays. If you are not in our school system, the child must be present at the elementary pickup.
