As the Mustang Cross Country team continues their season, they travel to Franklin to compete on September 20. It was a hot day, but the Mustangs did not let that bring them down. Coach Knehans said, “It was hot! The guys persevered and didn’t let the heat affect them too much. It was a good meet to prepare us for TVC where the weather will be much more conducive to fast times.” Freshman Hayden Karr ended with a time of 22:19 and finished in 27th place. Sophomore Blake Monie got a new personal record this meet. He ended with a 24:24. All runners ran hard and finished the day in 11th place as a team. Junior Jordan Faimon ran a 29:08 and freshman Jayden Parr ran a 29:01. They will continue their season on October 11, 2022 at Camp Kateri in McCool Junction.
