On Saturday, March 20th, the Silver Lake track team competed at their first meet of the season at UNK meet, which was actually located at the Kearney High Track. There were a total of 16 teams at the meet on Saturday. Although the day was faced with challenges such as wind, the track team competed to the best of their ability. Coach tenBensel commented “I was really proud of how hard our team came out and performed! It was great to get a starting point for them to get better throughout the season!
