The Silver Lake Boys Basketball took on two teams this week. On Tuesday, they took on the Wilcox- Hildreth Falcons. They persisted throughout the whole game and came out on top with a winning score of 62-29. Sophomore Quinn Rosno and junior Jake Knehans contributed a total of 31 points to the team’s total. Individually, Rosno scored 18 points, and Knehans scored 13 points. The Mustangs crashed the boards hard and managed to get a total of 36 rebounds as a team. Senior Brock Karr led the team for rebounds with 8 total.
On Friday, the Silver Lake boys took on the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders. The Mustangs had to fight hard, but they finished with yet another win and a final score of 59-43. Senior Oakley Rosno played a phenomenal game with 37 points. As a team, the boys played aggressively and got a total of 10 steals. The boys continue their season with an 11-5 record.
