The Mustangs took on the Falcons for another Friday night football game. With immense pressure, and being in front of a larger homecoming crowd, Silver Lake played an outstanding game, and finished on top against Wilcox-Hildreth. The Mustangs made sure to consistently perform offensively and defensively. Sophomore Adrian Gomez said, “Our defense significantly helped our offense to keep up the pace and get us on track to win.”
The Mustangs fought hard to play a consistent game throughout all four quarters. They ended up scoring an astonishing 67 points total. The defense managed to shut down the Falcons, only allowing them to score 12 points. Sophomores Brayden Hemberger and Keaton Karr both contributed to the team with two touchdowns each. The Mustangs will continue their season at Franklin on October 15th at 7:00.
