The Silver Lake Mustangs scored their second win over Red Cloud on Friday, January 3rd. Silver Lake was able to get their first win on their home court in Roseland against Elba. Coming off of that win, the Mustangs showed some of their best work against the Warriors. The Mustangs pulled a lead in the first quarter, with a score of 22-12, that they would hold all game. At the end of the second half, the boys were up 33-17. In the third, the ‘Stangs scored 12 more points. To conclude the game, Silver Lake beat Red Cloud with an impressive score of 70-29. Oakley Rosno was the top shooter of the night with 20 points, but not far behind with 19 points was Blaine Simonton. Freshman Jake Knehans contributed 7 points to the team. Silver Lake’s next game will be against on Friday, January 10th against Blue Hill.
