On Saturday, March 26 the Silver Lake powerlifters went to Orchard Nebraska for their last meet of the year. Throughout the long day, the lifters started with squat, going to bench, ending in deadlift, with three lifts in each. Silver Lake ended the day placing fifth as a team and everyone going home with a medal. Junior Marissa Erickson placed 3rd in the 181 weight class. Sophomore Keaton Karr placed 3rd in the 148 weight class. Sophomore Jack Sorensen placed 5th in the 209 weight class. Freshmen Paxton Sorensen placed 8th in the 165 weight class, Lane Conway placed 2nd in the 132 weight class, Casey Conway placed 3rd in the 165 weight class, Clay Plambeck placed 6th in the 210 weight class, and Jeremy Sharp placed 4th in the 275 weight class. Every team member improved from the last meet to this meet. Congratulations on a great season!
