The Silver Lake Lady Mustangs took on the Franklin Lady Flyers for three intense games. On September 21, the Flyers came to Roseland for a night full of volleyball. The junior high girls battled it out, with the A team game starting at 4:30, and the B team game to follow. The A team defeated the Flyers in two sets, while the B game was a little tougher. The ladies took it to three sets but pulled off the win in a back and forth game. After the junior high games were through, the high school games kicked off. “We loved getting to watch the Jr. High girls play. We usually don’t get to see them because we have games in different locations, so watching the junior high girls win their games got the high school girls excited and ready for their game as well,” Coach Baker commented. Last up was the C team game. The ladies came out and fought hard, winning them the game in three sets. When the team got down in the third set, freshman McKenna Pankoke served nine service points in a row to bring home the win.
