The junior high boys’ season is coming close to a close. So far this season, they have left everything on the court and played their hearts out, A team, posting a 5-1 record, and B team posting a 3-1 record. The boys have taken on the following opponents: Franklin, Shelton, Lawrence/Nelson, Red Cloud, and Blue Hill. Every single game they went out on the court ready to take on the other team. The final score of their past game, versus Blue Hill, was 34-23. Coach Knehans stated, “I thought our starters played very hard from the beginning, but we were a little inconsistent coming off the bench and were able to pull together as a team for the win.” Keaton Karr was the leading scorer with 15 points, and Adrian Gomez was right behind him with 6 points.
