CHILD FIND: Silver Lake Schools have the responsibility to identify, locate, and
evaluate all children (birth through 21) with disabilities regardless of the severity of
their disabilities, and who are in need of special education and related services. If

PUBLIC NOTICE: On Monday, May 1, 2023 at 3:30 P.M. a meeting conducted by Silver
Lake Schools will take place in the resource room (#224) at Silver Lake Elementary
School. The purpose of this meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents
and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan
for providing special education services to children with disabilities who attend
nonpublic schools and home schools which are within the Silver Lake School District
for the 2022-2023 school year. Parents of a home-schooled child or a child attending
a nonpublic school who has been or may be identified with a disability and attend a
nonpublic school within the boundaries of the Silver Lake District are urged to
