The Mustangs had their first loss of the season at S-E-M on Friday, September 25, 2021. The final score was 54-22. The Mustangs fought hard all through the game, but in the end, they still came up short.
Offensively, sophomore Adrian Gomez led the team in receiving yards with 83 yards. Sophomore Quinn Rosno led the team in rushing yards with 40 yards, and junior Jake Khehans followed behind with 19.
Defensively, senior Brock Karr led the team in tackles with 11 tackles. Sophomore Keaton Karr followed with 5, and Rosno and sophomore Brayden Hemberger followed closely behind him both totaling 4 tackles each. Head Coach Kyle Conroy commented on the game saying, “We didn’t come out with our usual intensity and S-E-M came out on fire. We will get some things corrected and be ready to go against Harvard.”
