The Silver Lake Cross Country team all had great performances at Fillmore Central on September 18th. Many runners had great times, with some getting new personal bests. For the boys’ side, there were 99 competitors. Leading the group was freshman Devin Maudlin, who had a time of 19:27 and finished 47th overall. Right behind him was senior Hayden Karr, who finished with a time of 20:14 and placed 63rd. Senior Frank Thomas finished out the boys with a time of 24:14 and placed 95th.
For the girls, sophomore Kaylee Karr ran a great race, setting her own personal record with a time of 22:54. That placed her 33rd out of 86 girls. It was a great day for the Silver Lake Cross country team.
