On March 30, the Silver Lake Mustangs travelled to Kenesaw to compete in their invite. Unlike the past meets where they had close to 16 teams, this meet only had 9. The girls team ranked sixth by the end of the meet with 37 points. Starting off the morning Katelyn Karr jumped 14 feet 5 inches in long jump earning herself 4th place. Next, Sydney Bartels also jumped 4 feet 2 inches in high jump in which she got 6th place. Starting off the running events was Madison Miller running the 400 M which earned herself 3rd place with a time of 1:09. Next was the 800M, Miller placed 5th while Morgan Dinkler placed 2nd with a time of 2:46. The 1600 meter run was next and Dinkler placed 3rd in that race. Georgi tenBensel also ran hard that day and placed 4th in the 300 meter hurdles. To finish off the day for the girls (Karr, Dinkler, Miller, and tenBensel) was the 4×4 where the girls placed second with a time of 4:46. The boys had a very successful day as well with Tristan Kasson placing 6th in the 100m dash with a time of 12.4 seconds. Next came the 110 hurdles where both Kasson and Luke Swanson placed 5th and 6th place respectively. Lastly for the boys (Keaton Karr, Brayden Hemberger, Lane Parr, and Matthew Hansen) ran the 4×4 where the boys placed 6th with a time of 4:08.
