Kerigan Karr and Amanda Ehrman got the offense started, tallying up 20 and 15 assists respectively. When serving, sophomore Lexi Wengler found success racking up 5 aces with no errors on 21 attempts. Assistant Coach Baker was impressed with the way the team overcame obstacles and rallied with a competitive team: “I was proud of the girls who stepped into new roles. We had to throw a rotation at them right before leaving for the game, and they all stepped up and did their jobs. As a team, we kept our composure throughout the long five sets, which I thought showed great mental toughness.”
